The National Security Adviser, Qassem Al-Araji, received in his office today, Friday, the head of the Turkmen Front, Hassan Turan.

A statement by the Chancellery stated: “The meeting witnessed a review of the overall security and political situation in the country, especially the general situation in Kirkuk Governorate.”

Al-Araji stressed: “Kirkuk province is a miniature Iraq that represents a model of peaceful coexistence among the spectra and components of the Iraqi people.

The two sides stressed the importance of preserving the security and stability of Kirkuk and working in a high patriotic spirit, by humidifying the atmosphere and adopting wisdom, to overcome challenges by supporting the federal government and creating a stable atmosphere for the implementation of its ministerial program.
