— Kuwaiti Ambassador to Azerbaijan Abdullah Al-Moued presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev to commence his diplomatic mission.
Kuwait Embassy in Baku said, in a statement to KUNA on Monday, the occasion took place at the Presidential Palace in the presence of Assistant to the President and Head of Foreign Political Affairs Hikmat Hajiyev along with a number of senior state officials.
President Aliyev was also noting of the Kuwaiti and Azerbaijani embedded deep ties to wish the new Ambassador successful passage in fulfilling his diplomatic mission.
On his behalf, Al-Moued conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir and the Crown Prince to the Azerbaijani President and their keenness to further develop beneficial bilateral relations.
