— Kuwaiti and British warplanes on Monday combined for joint air drills in one of the biggest military exercises between the two countries, a display aiming to encapsulate bilateral defense cooperation.
The drill linking the Kuwaiti Air Force and the British Royal Air Force’s “Red Arrows” was a riveting performance for onlookers on hand, Kuwaiti Air Force operations chief Brigadier General Fahad Al-Dosari told KUNA, citing such exercises as a platform for military knowhow exchange.
Britain’s Ambassador to Kuwait Belinda Lewis was among the delighted spectators, describing the display as a “spectacular” sight as Kuwaiti and British air force jets screamed into the skies above Kuwait.
