The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Affairs Envoy, Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, met in Montevideo with the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Uruguay, Robert Bouvier, during his visit to the Republic of Uruguay.

During the meeting, the two ministers reviewed the environmental efforts of their respective countries, where Minister Al-Jubeir briefed Minister Bouvier about the Kingdom’s initiatives in preserving the environment and mitigating climate change, including the “Saudi Green” and “Middle East Green” initiatives.

The Director General of the Office of the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Member, and Climate Affairs Envoy, Ambassador Khalid bin Musaed Al-Anqari, and the Saudi Acting Chargé d’Affaires to the Republic of Uruguay, Hossam Al-Saqabi, also attended the meeting.
