Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah, held talks in Marrakech on Saturday with her Qatari counterpart, Ali Bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, on ways of strengthening economic and investment relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the State of Qatar.

The meeting, held on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund, provided an opportunity to highlight the strength of relations between the two countries.

On this occasion, the Minister recalled the Kingdom’s resilience following the Al Haouz earthquake, as well as the importance of the reconstruction program initiated under the impetus of HM King Mohammed VI.

For his part, the Qatari minister hailed the solidity of relations between his country and the Kingdom of Morocco, and between the two brotherly peoples.

He also emphasized the great interest the State of Qatar takes in strengthening financial cooperation and investment ties with Morocco.
