Deputy Chief of Kuwait National Guard, Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, affirmed Monday, that the chemical and radiological monitoring system in the KNG is harnessed to support all state agencies to maintain the country’s security.

In a statement, the KNG said that during a visit to the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Center for Chemical Defense and Radiological Monitoring, Sheikh Faisal Al-Nawaf praised the center’s capabilities in supporting state institutions concerned with preserving the environment, measuring pollution rates and combating radioactive leakage.

The KNG Deputy Chief also stressed the need to continue keeping abreast of developments in terms of equipment and to follow up on qualifying and training staff through specialized courses.
