The director of the Al-Mundhiriya border crossing in Diyala Governorate, Sherko Al-Jaf, announced the success of the plan to receive and disbaching visitors in coordination with the security, intelligence and service departments, support institutions and volunteers.

Al-Jaf told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the number of Iranian visitors departing through Al-Mundhiriya crossing, northeast of Baqubah, reached more than 320,000 visitors after performing the Arbaeen visit. He stressed the continuation of the plan for visitors to leave through the port to their countries.

He pointed out that no obstructions or violations were recorded during the plan to receive and leave visitors through Al-Mundhiriya border crossing.

It is noteworthy that more than 400 thousand visitors entered Iraqi territory through Al-Mundhiriya crossing to perform the Arbaeen pilgrimage, and 36 service convoys were set up to support visitors arriving to visit the holy shrines in Karbala./End
