Advisor to the Prime Minister, Khaled Kabayan, arrived today, Friday, in Turkey, as an envoy of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, to inspect the condition of Captain Sharar Haidar, who has been lying in a Turkish hospital in the city of Bursa for weeks due to a coma.

A statement from the Prime Minister’s Advisory stated: “Kabayan heard a detailed explanation of Sharar Haider’s health condition from the medical staff responsible for following up on him. Then he met with his brothers and some members of his family, and conveyed to them the Prime Minister’s greetings and his heartfelt wishes that God would grant health and wellness to the dear Captain.”

The statement added: “Kabayan informed Captain Sharar’s family of the Prime Minister’s approval to bear all the costs of his treatment and the amount to the Iraqi Ministry of Health and demands from the concerned authorities to follow up and provide everything necessary for continued treatment and care.”
