Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Anas Al-Saleh, highlighted the need to build on the positive spirit, shown in the 23rd Arabian Gulf Cup competitions, to bring the peoples of the region close to each other.
The football missions of the sisterly GCC states and media missions, covering the event, showed a positive, noble and responsible attitude, towards the competitions, Al-Saleh, also chairman of the higher organising committee, told reporters, on Wednesday.
He voiced his joy for Kuwait’s hosting of the event, noting that, this is a chance for the GCC youth, to gather and compete in one of the most popular sports.
He thanked the participating teams for their cooperation with his committee, to ensure the success of the event.
