— Speaker of the National Assembly (parliament) Marzouq Al-Ghanim on Tuesday inaugurated the ordinary session to look into a host of issues and subjects tabled on the agenda.

Motions to scrap the parliamentary immunity of four deputies are on top of the agenda of today’s parliament sitting.

Afterwards, MPs will carry on considering the address given by His Highness the Amir during the second ordinary session of the current legislative terms, and then the government’s work plan for 2021-2022/2024-2025.

The list of tabled topics, further, encompasses a slew of parliament committees’ reports, agreements, MoUs, protocols and documents.
