Sudanese military council to hold meeting with political parties

KHARTOUM, The military council, which was formed for the interim administration in Sudan on Friday, announced its intention to hold a meeting to engage with political parties involved in an attempt to end the crisis in the country since the past four months.

“Our priority is security and stability, the provision of services and to conduct political dialogue inside the country and abroad,” said Omar Zine El-Abidine, Head of the political committee at a news conference in Khartoum, stressing that the next government will be civilian.
