House passes resolution formalizing Trump impeachment inquiry

WASHINGTON, The US House of Representatives voted Thursday 232 to 196 passing a resolution formalizing the impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump.

This resolution, which no Republicans voted for it and two Democrats voted against it, outlines the next steps in the impeachment inquiry of Trump, where now there will be public hearings of witnesses after five weeks of closed hearings. Trump immediately tweeted “the Greatest Witch Hunt in American History!” He tweeted earlier “the Impeachment Hoax is hurting out Stock Market. The Do Nothing Democrats don’t care!”
