The Kuwaiti Emir, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, condemned on Saturday, a terrorist blast that occurred in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria in Egypt.

In a cable, sent to Egyptian President, Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, the Emir expressed condemnation, on the terrorist blast, saying that, the terrorist operation contradicted all covenants and humanitarian values.

He affirmed support for Egypt, regarding any measure taken, to safeguard its security and stability, expressing condolences to the president and the victim’s family.

An Egyptian policeman was killed, and four others were also injured, Saturday, in Alexandria province, in a bomb blast that targeted the region’s security chief, according to Egyptian interior ministry.

The bomb, which was planted under a car, went off, when the car of Alexandria’s security commander passed by, the ministry said.
