Kuwait’s Al-Najat distributes humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees in Turkey

— Kuwait’s Al-Najat Charitable Society, on Tuesday, distributed humanitarian aid to Syrian refugees and orphans in several Turkish cities.

In a statement to KUNA, Al-Najat Director of Resources and Campaigns Omar Al-Shaqra said that this aid comes within the urgent (warmth and peace) campaign for the Syrian refugees in the cities of Sanliurfa, Gaziantep and Reyhanli, in addition to the displaced in Syria.

He also noted that 2,185 refugees and displaced Syrians benefited from the humanitarian aid, stressing the society’s keenness to continue its efforts to help the Syrians in the neighboring countries.

The campaign included the distribution of food and basic needs in addition to the distribution of heating materials, he added.

For his part, Al-Najat Director of the Orphans Department, Abdullah Al-Ruwaished, affirmed that the association attaches special care to the Syrian orphans, indicating that it sponsors thousands of orphans in the neighboring countries of Syria.
