Kuwait’s Commerce Ministry sends food to Lebanon

 

Kuwait Ministry of Commerce and industry announced on Friday sending food to the Lebanese capital, Beirut, after the terrible explosions that occurred Tuesday.
In a statement to KUNA, the ministry said all aid was sent in cooperation with foreign and defence ministries including Kuwaitآ’s flour mills and bakeries; due to orders of His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jabar Al-Sabah.
Moreover, Assistant Undersecretary for Technical Affairs and Commerce Development Mohammad Al-Enezi stated that all charities were given through both commerce and health ministries, besides Kuwait Red Crescent Society.
Al-Enezi also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Kuwaitآ’s Defense Ministry due to its huge efforts to ensure delivering the aid as soon as possible to Lebanese people.
From his side, Kuwaiti Minister of Commerce and Industry Khaled Al-Roudhan called Lebanese Minister of Economy and Trade, Raoul Nehme, examining Lebanon’s aid needs.
