Saudi Prosecution appoints first female investigators

JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia, Saudi Public Prosecutor Saud Al-Maajeb announced Monday hiring several Saudi women to work as investigators at the prosecution.

During his reception of the new appointees, Al-Maajeb said Saudi women had proved their ability to achieve success in all domains they joined.

This is the first batch of female investigators and would be followed by others, he promised.

He underlined that the Saudi government was deeply interested in expanding women participation in all domains.
