Trump meets leaders of NATO two percenters in London

WASHINGTON, US President Donald J. Trump on Wednesday hosted a working lunch with leaders of the ‘NATO two percenters’ – the allies that spend two percent of their GDP on defense.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the NATO Leaders’ Meeting in London on Wednesday, the White House Deputy Press Secretary Hogan Gidley said in a press release.

It gathered leaders of Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Lithuania, Bulgaria, and the United Kingdom, as well as the Secretary General Jen Stoltenberg “President Trump thanked these leaders for taking seriously their commitment to Allied security and burden-sharing by spending two percent of their Gross Domestic Product on defense,” Gidley added.
