KUWAIT, Kuwait’s Telecommunications Company (VIVA) Monday announced net profits of KD 31.6 million (around USD 104 million) for the nine months ending September 30.
Commenting on the results, VIVA’s CEO Maziad Al-Harbi said in a press statement that per share earnings hit 63 filts (about 207 cents) in the reported period, up 15 percent.
The company’s total earnings amounted to KD 215.6 million (USD 709 million), he said, adding that EBITDA grew up by 11.3 percent.
He boasted that the positive results had reflected the company’s competitive edge and boosted position as the Kuwaiti telecommunication sector’s second largest provider in view of its size of revenues.
